I had thought when having a baby that we as mothers had to be tired, like it was a rite of passage. Now I know it is not. I had thought that I would be a woman who as a mother would roll with it and that my baby would feed on demand and sleep wherever we were. Once three months went by without a single solid sleep I started to sing another tune. I was desperate to get some semblance of my life back. That's where Natalie came in. She encouraged and taught myself and Pete to get what we needed, a full nights sleep! Pete responded really well with every push and through the dark moments Natalie was there to see us through with words of encouragement and tips along the way. I would never have pulled it off without her! Pete and I are a thousand times better for it and I am now able to organize my life without fear of lack of sleep. I am a better half to my partner and we have been able to rekindle our closeness since Pete arrived since once Pete goes to bed we are awake enough to have dinner and converse about things other than how tired we are. Thank God for Natalie and her power to train mom's to train babes to sleep 12 hours a night!

I’d read about sleep training and knew what to do in theory, but couldn’t have done it without the support of Natalie’s coaching. She was so enthusiastic and excited for me to implement the program and was so extremely attentive. Having done it herself, she knew exactly what we were going through as new parents. She helped me feel confident that what we were doing was the right thing for both our baby and for ourselves. And she was right.

Our daughter has been happily sleeping 12 hours a night since she was 3 months old and I wouldn’t hesitate to have Natalie coach me through it all over again with any other children we have!

I am so thankful for the guidance and support I got from Natalie, even before my eldest was born. I watched her take control of her sleep deprived life when her daughter was an infant and was inspired to know that sleep and a schedule are not only possible but make a happy, healthy baby, mom and therefore dad too!

It was particularly important for me to know that this was going to be my future as I have lupus and rest and sleep are extremely important for my overall health. Knowing that my baby would be able to sleep 12 hours a night gave me confidence that I could manage it all. Natalie guided me through the process, twice, and I have the best sleepers and a predictable schedule, which both my children and I love. I look forward to having her by my side once again when baby number three arrives in 2013. Really truly a sleeping baby changes your life just as much as having a baby in the first place! Thanks to Natalie we are a happy sleep thriving family.

Quinn is our first child, so naturally I hadn’t a clue what I was doing when it came to creating good sleeping habits and the right routine for our baby girl. At only 2 months old, I wasn’t sure if she was too young to sleep train, but I knew I was forming bad habits and was becoming nervous about how to go about breaking them. I had one too many bad nights sleep and was growing frustrated with having to rock her to sleep, all the time. Then, I met Natalie. I refer to Natalie to all my friends and family as ‘the magician’. From the moment I met her we all began sleeping better. She has the warmest, most encouraging approach to her sleep training, and after only two weeks Quinn was sleeping 12-hours a night, every night. She also developed the most predictable nap schedule ever imagined, right down to the minute. Best of all, I knew that no matter what Natalie was there for us. Questions came up all the time – what if she wakes? What if she’s sick? What if I have plans and cannot get home for her scheduled nap? Natalie knew the answer to everything, and it always, ALWAYS worked. It’s absolutely amazing, shocking really. I tell everyone it’s because of a loving magician named Natalie.

With my first child, my daughter Olivia, we jumped at every cry and catered to every "need". My husband and I felt that her cries were obviously a sign of sadness, distress or loneliness. Her cries became words and we began to realize that she was in control of our nights and essentially our lives. We were sticking pacifiers back in, giving 3 am bottles, basically anything she asked for in hopes of a little more sleep. When we found out I was pregnant with number two, we knew that, without a doubt, we would sleep train. I jumped at the chance to have Natalie's guidance and support! At 8 weeks we started training and by 12 weeks Max was sleeping 12 hours in his crib without any assistance. My husband and I would hold our breathe waiting for him to change, thinking our "luck" would run out. People ask me if I'm getting sleep, I say "he's been sleeping through the night since 3 months." People keep saying how "lucky" I am. I respond by saying, no, we worked hard, we committed to a plan and had an unbelievable coach who helped us through the process. I can still say to this day that our baby is hands down a better sleeper than our pre-schooler. I don't blame her for this, I blame my husband and me for not giving our daughter the tools and guidance to be a good sleeper.

My husband and I always knew we wanted to do some form of sleep training for our daughter, but had no idea where to start. There are so many books and methods out there, it was tough to filter through it all. We enlisted Natalie's assistance after learning of her success with her own kids. The process is all about getting the baby on a schedule during the day, and eating enough at feeds so they don't need to wake during the night to eat. Aside from the obvious benefits of having a baby who sleeps through the night, Natalie's method makes daytime with an infant that much more enjoyable - playdates, lunch dates, programs, regular naptime - it's all possible! Natalie helped us throughout the whole process, being an awesome coach (sometimes parental support isn't enough). It's short-term pain (4 weeks max) for very long-term gain. Our daughter is 15 months and has been sleeping 7pm-7am since 3 months old (no exaggeration!). It made transitioning into daycare really easy, and allowed us to feel really comfortable having a grandparent or sitter come over as we could tell them exactly what to expect with our daughter. Is having a sleep coach an investment? Yes! Is it worth it? More than 100%!

Natalie provided me with the support and confidence needed to teach my daughter to love sleep. I have a confident, thriving, happy and well rested baby girl. Natalie's method helps take the guessing out of your baby's needs by providing guidance and a structure to help navigate through teaching healthy sleep habits. I am proud to have taught my daughter this first of many life skills.
